JUSTICE:
Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison brought charges against the remaining officers involved in the murder of George Floyd and upgraded charges on Derrick Chauvin to second-degree murder. The officers who violated their oath to serve and protect communities must be brought to justice. We call for accountability and we also call for healing and restoration for George‘s family and communities across Minnesota.
MOBILIZE:
We have mobilized a local and national, diverse coalition of organizations and federal lawmakers to address systematic flaws in policing across America. We look to create legislative solutions that will hold police officers accountable, ensure taxpayers dollars are spent towards solutions that actually address public safety, and put an end to police violence and abuse of power, especially against black and brown communities.
